Consultniks Limited was established in 2006 by Nick Edwards and specialises in providing financial services, technical and marketing consultancy services to a range of finance companies including independent financial advisers, wealth managers, product providers, technical support companies and professional bodies.

Nick Edwards has over 40 years’ experience in financial services, gained across a number of product providers, asset management companies and consultancy assignments.
Nick has significant experience in the promotion and marketing of investment and insurance products in the UK and overseas, financial planning, tax planning, onshore and offshore product development and management, the development and marketing of trust-related products, technical support both at and away from the point of sale and the design, specification and development of financial planning software systems.
Trustee Support Services
Nick is also a director of Trustee Support Services Limited, which he established with John Woolley to assist trustees with the registration of their trusts on HMRC’s Trust Registration Service.
Qualifications and experience
Nick is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (Ch.FCSI), Chartered Wealth Manager, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS), Chartered Financial Planner and European Financial Planner (EFP).
He also holds a number of other qualifications including the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Advanced Financial Planning Certificate. He is a Senior Assessor for the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner qualification and was Senior Examiner for both the Fellowship of the Institute of Financial Planning and the Certificate in Paraplanning.
Nick speaks and writes French and is qualified to Foreign Languages at Work (FLAW) Level 4.
Nick speaks at a range of financial services events on a number of different technical subjects and contributes to the financial press.
